Founded in 2015, EARTHwise is a global ecosystem for guiding and empowering how humans and intelligent systems can co-evolve and collaborate for a thrivable world and future. We bring together games, AI, education, research, and systems design to cultivate trustworthy collective intelligence for people, planet, and society.

Our Approach
EARTHwise works at the intersection of human development and artificial intelligence. Through transformative education, participatory governance frameworks, and embodied learning experiences, we support people in developing the capacities needed for complex societal change—systems thinking, ethical discernment, cooperation under pressure, and win-win decision-making.

At the same time, our Elowyn game and AI Alignment Arena translate these principles into practice. By combining entertainment, education, and advanced AI, we train and align both humans and AI through competitive yet interdependent win-win gameplay. This Play2Thrive approach reveals how intelligence—human and artificial—sets goals, navigates competing interests, responds to deception, and learns to coordinate for shared outcomes.

A Living Ecosystem
EARTHwise Ventures advances this work through applied AI innovation, including supervisory intelligence for agentic AI systems. The non-profit EARTHwise Centre serves as the ecosystem’s educational and R&D backbone, stewarding research, learning programs, and the broader societal mission. Together, they form an integrated ecosystem for aligning intelligence with life.

We also lead the Global AGI Constitution initiative with international partners, establishing shared governance principles to support a safe and benevolent transition from AI to advanced general intelligence—grounded in the wisdom of living systems and life-centric values.
